Sydney, 10th September 2009: The Commonwealth Bank has launched an interactive online competition aimed at encouraging teens to understand the value of money.
Teens have the chance to design and win their own pair of Dunlop Volleys. As they create their designs (which can be viewed in 3D using Augmented Reality), a virtual dollar value is tied to the graphics they can choose from. With only $100 available for each design the balance is soon chewed up, making them think carefully about the “value” of the outcome.
According to Mark Murray, General Manager Consumer Marketing Commonwealth Bank, building financial skills to manage money amongst young people is an important responsibility of the Commonwealth Bank.

National Sales Manager, Confectionery Link, Ken McLean explained that the Dubble Bubble Gumball brand, represented locally by Confectionery Link is predominately featured in a recent Hollywood blockbuster film G.I. Joe – The Rise of the Cobra. G.I. Joe was released in Australia last month.
The production budget was $170 million and it grossed $54 million in the opening week in America.
