A NEW SURVEY reveals the need for Australians to have internet access on the move, as one in five now use a mobile phone to surf the internet.
Almost 20% (19.6%) of those surveyed by free online classifieds website Gumtree.com.au* revealed that they access the internet via mobile phone due to the ease, accessibility and quality now available through ‘smartphones’ such as the iPhone or Blackberry.
Indicating the demise of the internet café, just 6% of those polled in the survey use an internet café to browse online. In addition, a third (33%) of all respondents log on to the internet on their work PC. Read more…

November 2009 – Sydney, Australia: A study by Germany’s Greifswald University has confirmed the outstanding performance of Gelcompany’s High Performance Electrophoresis (HPE) system.

Melbourne three-piece, Tin Alley, have notched another accolade up their belt this week, this time for their new single ‘Out Of Control’ being the fourth most added track to Australian radio this week.
Last week, the band returned to the ARIA Charts with the same single which debuted in the ARIA top 50 singles chart at number 43 whilst debuting at number 7 on the ARIA Australian Singles Chart. This week the single falls shy of the top 50 and dropped to number 11 on the AIR Charts.
